At Dairy Farmers of America’s (DFA) Fort Morgan, CO facility, the Wet Wash Plant Upgrade project included upgrading the existing dry milk plant’s ammonia refrigeration system and installing a new automated packaging line to support improved production operations. The team provided new electrical control panels for the packaging line and an integrated palletizing robot, enabling coordinated and efficient material handling. As part of the project, outdated control systems were modernized and several panels were relocated using engineered control solutions to improve system reliability and maintainability. Significant pre-planning and coordination were required due to a tight project timeline and the need to work within an active production environment. Through detailed preparation and execution, all scope items—including system upgrades, panel installations, and controls integration—were completed successfully within the required schedule.
