Interstates Team Earns Multiple Safety Recognitions on Data Center Campus

During the week of July 21, one of Interstates' data center teams working in Nebraska on the Data Hall offices and support area was recognized for their safety culture and commitment by the client and general contractor on three separate occasions. What's impressive is that the utilities team working on the same site had been previously recognized in the same way: not once, but twice!
Currently, the team consists of 60 individuals and is ramping up to the high point. Site underground lighting is going in, construction is underway in the Data Hall offices and support area, and work is beginning in the cooling yard.
With that being said, there are a lot of other trades working in close proximity, and Interstates has to be intentional in planning and execution to not be impacted by trade stacking. A large part of that effort is barricading and managing overhead work areas.
A representative from the client team shared the following sentiment:
"Over the past two Fridays, I've observed outstanding safety from the Interstates Teams during my job site walks. Your team has consistently shown 100% PPE adherence, used spotters for overhead work, and properly barricaded areas when needed, just to name a few observations. Please extend our gratitude to everyone involved!"
The team also received another accolade from the client's quality representative, who came by the job trailer to personally thank the team for their continued safe work on the site! To end the week, the Data Hall Office crew was awarded the Team Safety Award from the general contractor at the all-hands meeting in the morning. The site team had won the same award earlier in the year.
Interstates is honored by this recognition from the client, the owner's team, and the general contractor. Most importantly, it reflects the everyday commitment the Interstates team brings to protecting one another, delivering quality, and being a reliable partner. As the project progresses, Interstates will continue to set a high standard for safety and collaboration across the site.
