Costco Wholesale Corporation

Interstates joined with several other contractors to build Costco’s greenfield feed mill. Originally in charge of mill construction, Interstates took on more tasks as the project progressed. An ever-changing scope, along with harsh weather conditions, demanded both flexibility and perseverance from the crew. A track porter designed for setting gear and whiteboard scheduling helped save time when delays threatened the already tight schedule.

Key Scope Components

Interstates installed 687,026 feet of wire and 68,969 feet of IMC and EMT rigid conduit. In addition, we installed and wired 185 motors, 437 lights, and 313 devices.
