At the Winfield - Omnium facility in Dodge City, Kansas, Interstates delivered a robust automation upgrade that modernized Mixer #3 while laying the groundwork for future integration of the tank farm and additional mixers. By completing most conduit and wiring ahead of the planned shutdown and coordinating installation during the client’s routine downtime—with contingency manpower in place—Interstates helped minimize production impact despite a tight schedule and changing project leadership. The project replaced manual batching with a Rockwell Automation batching solution, added historian-based data analytics, and implemented a scalable control and network infrastructure designed to improve accuracy, reliability, and long-term growth.
