Interstates’ collaborated with the City of Greeley on updates to its Boyd Lake water treatment plant in Loveland, CO. Working with a local general contractor, Interstates provided electrical construction services on this project. Tight schedules and long lead times caused the project great concerns; however, the team worked together to solve those problems to make up for lost time. One example was using cable tray and cable in place of conduit to save both labor and material costs. Having Interstates’ panel shop fabricate control panels offsite also reduced manhours.
