This 700,000 square foot expansion for Nestle Purina provided the space required to install three additional process lines in their current facility. Interstates’ scope included everything from below grade grounding, power distribution (15,000v to 120v), lighting, fire alarm, security/card access, lightning protection, communication infrastructure, wireless access network, process power, and process controls installation.

Key Scope Components

  • Once operating at full capacity, this will be the largest wet pet food facility in North America.
  • Zero recordable injuries with over 300,000 hours worked on the project.
  • In efforts to align with the owner’s budgets, Interstates offered more than $3 million in value engineering solutions ultimately accepted by the owner.
