Utah Flour Mill Project

A clean and modern industrial electrical room with polished concrete floors and multiple vertical bus duct systems enclosed in metal housings. Overhead, a dense network of metal electrical conduit and cable trays is neatly organized, supplying power and control to the machinery below.

Interstates successfully delivered a fully integrated electrical and automation solution for a new flour mill in Richmond, UT, using its Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model. The project, which supplies flour to a major snack food producer, featured innovative approaches including an all-steel structure and extensive underground conduit work to improve efficiency and reduce timeline constraints. Close collaboration with general contractor Bratney and strategic use of BIM, prefab, and embedded conduit helped streamline construction, reduce costs, and maintain project momentum despite weather and holiday challenges.
