The City of Sioux Center needed to update its wastewater treatment plant, where Interstates was able to provide automation, power engineering, and panel building services. Improvements included adding an influent lift station, biosolids building, UV building, operations building, pretreatment building, and rehabilitating the existing controls building. The new plant will take the wastewater department’s operations from push-button procedures to efficient, wireless accessibility; employees will now be able to run the entire plant from a PC or tablet.
