What Is Cash for Causes?
Cash for Causes is a year-round, Interstates program that raises funds to support local, non-profit organizations. Through employee giving, Interstates impacts 52 non-profit organizations each year. With a commitment to promoting community awareness and service among our teams, the program provides team members opportunities to donate, learn and get more involved with great organizations.
Our employee-led committee (FC2) asks for organization nominations twice a year. Our team members are passionate about their work in the office and the community. We encourage them to nominate organizations they're involved with, directly affected by, or are passionate about in any of the communities where Interstates serves.
The program's sponsored organizations change each week. Below are this quarter's recipients:

Commercial Chaos for a Cure, Iowa
Northwest Iowa may recognize this convoy of commercial vehicles. This convoy is driving with a purpose, to raise money and awareness for the June E. Nylen Cancer Center.
Lutheran Social Services – Better Together, South Dakota
This organization works to improve the lives of adults ages 65 and older in the community. They do this by establishing trusting relationships with the volunteers and adults. Through this, they can participate in social opportunities together.
Northwest American Legion Riders (NWIAALR), Iowa
The NWIAALR are members of the American Legion who are motorcycle enthusiasts. They participate in parades; support, and fundraise for the American Legion and other local charities, and serve and honor guard in military funerals.
Miracle League of Sioux City, Iowa
Miracle League of Sioux City provides recreational fields designed for individuals with disabilities. These facilities promote play, safety, friendships, and acceptance.

Center for Financial Education, Iowa
With free, confidential consultations, the Center for Financial Education assists its clients with their finances. They provide financial education in areas like budget development, debt organization, and creditor payment management.
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, National
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation seeks to improve the lives of those living with CF and find a cure. They do this through funding research, providing expert care nationwide, and supporting the individuals and families affected by CF.
Sioux Center Fire Department, Iowa
The Sioux Center Fire Department makes it its mission to serve, protect and educate the Sioux Center community from fires. They have two stations, seven trucks, and 40 volunteers and assist surrounding departments with major incidents.
Town and Country Humane Society, Nebraska
This organization provides a safe living environment for pets in need of a loving home. They are a no-time-limit shelter that is dedicated to the betterment of animals.
Camp POSTCARD, South Dakota
Camp POSTCARD (Peace Officers Striving to Create and Reinforce Dreams) is a summer camp that connects law enforcement officials and students. This organization provides the youth and law officials an opportunity to learn from and encourage one another, and be pushed out of their comfort zone.

Safe Families for Children, South Dakota
Safe Families is located in 70 cities across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and beyond. Their goal is to keep children safe during family crises, stabilize families, and reunite and reduce the number of children entering the welfare system.
National T.T.T Society, Iowa
The National T.T.T Society sends hundreds of girls to summer camps across the country at no charge to their families. Through various camps, they encourage girls to expand their horizons, build self-confidence, explore nature, and make new friends.
Off, Off Broadway, Iowa
This organization brings the big stage and a small town together. The Off, Off Broadway dinner theater, offers local catering and entertainment to the northwest Iowa Community.
Sioux County Shooting Sports, Iowa
Sioux County Shooting Sports is a 4-H club that focuses on learning outdoor sports safely. They offer air rifle and archery courses to students ages 10 and older. We're proud to support this organization!
