At Interstates, safety is the key to our success. One of the core values at Interstates is family and that is what drives us every day to live out our zero injury culture ensuring everyone returns home safely each and every day. We’ve even reached a major milestone by recording 1,000,000 man hours without a recordable incident twice in just two years. Only twenty-four other firms have repeated this achievement. Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) STEP Diamond Award
National Safety Excellence Award
The ABC National Safety Excellence Award recognizes companies who exhibit a continued commitment to jobsite safety and whose safety performance and programs are judged to be exemplary by the ABC National Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Committee. Awards are based on data submitted via STEP applications, essay questions and video interviews with company Presidents/CEOs/Principals about their corporate safety culture. Award categories are based on a company’s total work-hours per calendar year and placement within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). We were thrilled to be honored with an ABC Excellence in Construction Safety Award. Learn More
