What Is Cash for Causes?
Cash for Causes is a year-round, Interstates program that raises funds to support local, non-profit organizations. Through employee giving, Interstates impacts 52 non-profit organizations each year. With a commitment to promoting community awareness and service among our teams, the program provides team members opportunities to donate, learn and get more involved with great organizations.
Our employee-led committee (FC2) asks for organization nominations twice a year. Our team members are passionate about their work in the office and the community. We encourage them to nominate organizations they're involved with, directly affected by, or are passionate about in any of the communities where Interstates serves.
The program's sponsored organizations change each week. Below are this quarter's recipients:

All Cats Rescue, South Dakota
All Cats Rescue has a mission of finding forever homes for cats and kittens. They do this exclusively through donations and volunteers.
Sioux Center Fire Department, Iowa
The Sioux Center Fire Department makes it its mission to serve, protect and educate the Sioux Center community from fires. They have two stations, seven trucks, and 40 volunteers and assist surrounding departments with major incidents.
Cub Scout Pack 211, Iowa
The program’s mission is to build character and introduce kids to hobbies, vocation, and civic responsibility. This pack has 25 boys, aged K-5th grade in Sioux Center, IA, community.
Katelyn’s Fund, Iowa
Katelyn’s Fund began as a ministry that offered adoption grants to families. It has kept this program but has now built an orphanage in Haiti that is home to 70+ children.
Yellow Ribbon Support Center, Ohio
Yellow Ribbon supports deployed troops with care packages. They also offer school scholarships to remember the fallen soldiers.

Brandon Volunteer Fire Department, South Dakota
Since 1958, BVFD has been responding to accidents, fires, rescue, and medical calls. They have up to forty certified firefighters, and some are even Certified Emergency Medical Technicians.
Flint Hills Breadbasket, Kansas
Breadbasket is a Community Food Network that serves the Manhattan, KS, community. They minimize hunger and poverty through food distribution and nurture projects.
Inspiration Hills, Iowa
The program’s mission is to spread the word of God through its year-round program events, and retreat spaces. Enjoy vacation, camping, outdoor activities, and so much more at Inspiration Hills.
Wreath’s Across America, Iowa
Each year on a Saturday in December, wreaths are laid in the Arlington National Cemetery and 2,100 other cemeteries across America. Their mission is to remember the veterans, honor those who served and teach about freedom.

Village Northwest Unlimited, Iowa
Located in Sheldon, IA, Village Northwest Unlimited serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They help each person achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.
Sioux Center Hockey Association, Iowa
In this hockey association, there are nearly 160 players ranging from ages 5-18. Their season is from mid-October to the end of February, and they are always welcoming newcomers.
Santa Cops Of Larimer County, Colorado
Santa Cops provides toys for children in need of Larimer County during the Christmas season. To accomplish this, they partner with local law enforcement to deliver these gifts.
Hope For The Hopeless, South Dakota
Hope for the Hopeless started after Sioux Falls, SD, residents asked for help for families that cared for orphans in Liberia, Africa. After a group visited in 2018, they set out to make a better home for the kids. Now, they are building and providing for 89 orphaned children in Liberia.
