What Is Cash For Causes?
Cash for Causes is a year-round, Interstates program that raises funds to support local, non-profit organizations. Through employee giving, Interstates impacts 52 non-profit organizations each year. With a commitment to promoting community awareness and service among our teams, the program provides team members opportunities to donate, learn and get more involved with great organizations.
Our employee-led committee (FC2) asks for organization nominations twice a year. Our team members are passionate about the work they do at the office and in the community. We encourage them to nominate organizations they're involved with, directly affected by, or are passionate about in any of the communities where Interstates serves.
The program's sponsored organizations change each week. Below are this quarter's recipients:

Rising Arrows Day Camp, Iowa
Rising Arrows provides a summer camp that is safe and fun for kids and families in Sioux Center, IA. It’s a high-quality summer learning experience.
Union Gospel Mission, South Dakota
The Union Gospel Mission works to care for and show compassion to the Sioux Falls, SD, community. They provide shelter, education, health services, and much more.
The Healing Center, Ohio
The Healing Center has over 50 uniquely designed services to help people meet their practical, social, emotional, spiritual, and financial needs. It’s a place for individuals to receive love, healing, and empowerment.
The Grace Campus, Texas
The Grace Campus is a place to receive temporary shelter for the homeless in Lubbock, TX. They come alongside these individuals to help them realize their potential and live independently.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands, Nebraska
This Big Brothers Big Sisters organization in Omaha, NE, supports mentoring relationships to a Big volunteer and a child.
Sioux County Pulse 4-H Livestock Club, Iowa
This 4-H Club for the Sioux County area provides opportunities for youth to develop skills, such as taking care of livestock.
Camp Autumn, Iowa
Camp Autumn serves children in summer and after-school camps. They support children to address therapeutic and skill development needs.
Yellow Ribbon Support Center, Ohio
Yellow Ribbon supports deployed troops with care packages. They also offer school scholarships to remember the fallen soldiers.
Family Promise of Lubbock, Texas
Family Promise provides support and temporary shelter to homeless families to empower them for long-term independence.

Sioux Center Hockey Association, Iowa
In this hockey association, there are nearly 160 players ranging from ages 5-18. Their season is from mid-October to the end of February, and they are always welcoming newcomers.
Commercial Chaos for a Cure, Iowa
Northwest Iowa may recognize a convoy of commercial vehicles. This convoy is driving with a purpose, to raise money and awareness for the June E. Nylen Cancer Center.
Reach Out Lakota, Ohio
Reach Out Lakota provides food and clothing to the West Chester and Liberty Townships in Ohio. In addition, they have programs for the communities, including a thanksgiving meal, providing school supplies, and distributing refurbished computers.
Sioux County Conservation, Iowa
Sioux County has 24 different parks, fishing areas, and wildlife refuges. The Sioux County Conservation Board manages these areas, protects the natural resources, and provides conservation education.
