Interstates Construction, a division of the Interstates Companies, is pleased to announce the following promotions:
Dave Los
Vice President, Operations
Dave Los joined the Interstates team in 2001 as Interstates was expanding its project delivery team. Since then, Dave has led several key strategic programs and has been instrumental in keeping Interstates on the cutting edge of construction project delivery. Dave’s skills as a change agent have been key in successfully leading the Interstates Construction team through a number of important project delivery initiatives.
Dave has said that he finds it a privilege to work with such a talented team of people who are committed to Interstates’ sustainability. “Together, we are striving to continue to make Interstates great for the next 50 years.” To ensure Interstates remains a premier provider to the industries it serves, Dave will continue his leadership role in operations while leading a widening array of change initiatives.
Randy Van Voorst
Vice President, Project Executive
Randy Van Voorst has developed a strong track record of providing premier service to Interstates’ clients. Randy came onboard with Interstates in 1971 as an assistant and continued to advance his electrical and instrumentation training and experience as he grew with the company.
Randy has served in many roles during his career, and his contributions include completing some of Interstates’ largest and most challenging projects.
Currently, Randy’s role is executive sponsorship of projects for a key set of client and partner relationships while building the next generation of project managers and field leaders. He continues to set the standard for client satisfaction by leading teams from all of Interstates’ companies to deliver using an integrated approach.
Wayne McDaniel
Vice President, Project Executive
Wayne McDaniel started his career at Interstates in 1973 after completing a two year electronic program at Mitchell Vocational Technical College. Wayne built his reputation as a project leader traveling throughout the country during the formative years of IC’s growth.
Since accepting the position as project manager in Sioux Center in 1992, Wayne has continued to build the Interstates brand by serving clients and coaching a new generation of project managers and field leaders.
Wayne will continue to serve in this capacity, providing executive sponsorship of projects while managing and representing the growing traveling workforce of Interstates.
